My journey started young, I loved being in nature, exploring and connecting to the world around me. I found myself spending hours pondering the intricacies of each plant, making up explanations of how they've come to be. As an herbalist, I've come to realize that just as each person has a story, each herb has it's own story too. By spending the time to understand plants individually, it opens up a whole world of medicine right outside the front door.
Growing up, my family always valued a balanced diet and prioritized the quality of every ingredient. Meals were always had around a table while sharing the highlights of our days. This taught me to treat food as a vital cornerstone to complete well-being.
After spending the last 6 years learning from several acupuncturists practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine, I've begun to understand the innate knowledge found within plants, and our own bodies. It is in our nature to listen to natural rhythms and adhere to what we're being told. Unfortunately, our busy lives and poor diets no longer foster this communication, and often our body's needs are lost in translation. It has been during this time of personal rediscovery that I've been able to heal chronic migraines, regain control over cystic acne, establish regular sleeping patterns, and find balance in hormonal changes through a more wholesome diet, acupuncture, and herbalism.
As a nutritional therapy practitioner, my goal is to empower each of my clients to take your health back into your own hands. This starts by teaching you how to interpret the signs and symptoms you experience day-to-day, while supporting you on your personal journey to optimal health. I will work hard to build a strong foundational diet by incorporating nutrient dense, minimally processed foods while utilizing the supplementation of herbal medicine based on your specific, or bio-individual, needs.

As a practitioner, my ultimate goal is simple: I want my clients to find healing and feel their best.
Achieving health is not a one-stop shop- it’s a constant and ever-changing process. If we take the time to understand how our body responds to various foods and lifestyle choices, we can avoid numerous doctor visits, pill prescriptions, and endless hours of confusion as to why we don’t feel good, can’t lose weight, can’t muster up any energy, etc. etc.
I am a firm believer in the Nutritional Therapy model which respects the unique needs of every individual- there is no perfect diet or lifestyle for everyone. Battling my own digestive issues since 4th grade, it took me a while to find healing through Nutritional Therapy, but now that I have it, I am thrilled to share it with others in need.
My passion has always been the natural world and outdoor pursuits. Growing up, my time outside counting butterflies or playing with plants offered temporary relief from my digestive issues and confusion about my body. Apprenticing for an herbalist helped to make the connection between human health and the power of plant-based medicine. The more I delved into the realm of herbal medicine, the more I needed to know how the body works and food’s role in augmenting or impeding health. Herbal medicine can work wonders, but only if the foundations of diet and lifestyle are first addressed.
